Made in Macau 2.0 revives intimate family memories and confronts the present reality of living in Macau, a former Portuguese colony and cultural hybrid that was the last mainland colony to be returned to China. Using puppetry and objects, the performance is both a serious and comical reflection of Macau’s enormous social and economic transformations, and their effects on the local ideology.

Being the first Chinese professional Puppet and Alternative Theatre group in Macau, ROLLING PUPPET strives to promote the art form of puppetry and alternative theatre through performances, art education, publishing and other media. By cooperating and bridging artists and organisations from different fields, ROLLING PUPPET explores different possibilities in creativity.
